Admissions Reception

Aureus Primary School has an admission number of 60 for entry in Year R (Reception).  Please see the documents below for full details and defined catchment area.

Offers for places in the Reception classes were made by Oxfordshire County Council on Monday 16th April.  Welcome letters with transition dates were emailed to parents from the school on Monday 16th April.

The closing date for accepting your Reception place with OCC is 3rd May 2018.

Tour of the School Site

We will be holding two tours of the school site.  You can indicate which tour date you would like to attend and register by clicking the link in the email sent to you on 16th April.

School Uniform Sale

Our supplier; Kitbox will be available to take your orders for your child’s school uniform.    There will be an opportunity to try on the uniform to ensure you are ordering the correct sizes.   Orders can be placed on the day. Induction Evening for Parents and Carers

This is an opportunity for parents and carers to come along to hear from Ms Wilson, our Headteacher, meet our teachers and our student wellbeing team.

These meetings are for Parents and Carers only.  Due to limited space, we would kindly ask you to arrange alternative childcare for your children and any siblings.   

Friday 7th September

9.00-10.30am

Taster Morning

We will be running a ‘Stay and Play’ session for the pupils to meet their teachers and familiarise themselves with their classroom and surroundings.

Pupils are expected to wear their full school uniform.

Parents and carers will be expected to stay for the session and join us for coffee and cake.  This will be an opportunity for you to meet other parents and members of the Aureus team.

Tuesday 11th September

8.45-12.00pm

First Half Day of Term for Reception Pupils  

Our new Reception pupils will have a phased entry attending for a half day on their first day of school.  Lunch will not be served on this day.

Pupils are expected to wear their full school uniform.

Wednesday 12th September - 8.45-3.15pm

First Full Day of Term for Reception Pupils  

Our new Reception pupils will attend full time from Wednesday 12th September.  Lunch will be served.

Pupils are expected to wear their full school uniform.
