GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
We had a fantastic World Book Day this year!
Our children and staff impressed us once again with their wonderfully creative costumes. We were also blown away by the imaginative Story in a Box creations on display.
Everyone enjoyed taking part in the character hunt, and our younger pupils especially loved sharing stories with their older schoolmates. It was a brilliant day celebrating a love of reading across the whole school.
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
