Year 5 were lucky enough to experience a fantastic 'Volatile Volcanoes' workshop this week, delivered by Oxford University Earth Sciences Department. They got involved in a series of four activities related to the understanding of the risk of eruptions, including wearing a volcanologist suit, investigating rocks, film cannister eruptions and party popper eruptions!
