GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

    Term 1 STEAM Showcase

    We are proud to share with you our virtual Term 1 STEAM Showcase. The links below showcase all of the children's amazing learning from Term 1 - please take a few moments to have a look.

    This term the whole school's STEAM focus has been Maths and we have been exploring the question, "Can I create, carry out an experiment and present my data in a variety of ways?"

    In our virtual showcase you will see the wonderful range of projects which children have worked on this term from data handling about bread making and our favourite breads in Reception, to measuring the amount of light passing through our own curtains in Year 1, to magnet-powered cars in Year 3, to creating our own vacuum cleaners to litter pick in Year 6.
