GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 3 are having a WHEELY good time!

Year 3 have had an exciting start to their STEAM Learning Journey so far this term, beginning it with a bang by holding their own wheels day!

Across the school this term, everyone's STEAM focus is Maths and each class is looking at the question 'Can I create, carry out an experiment and present my data in a variety of different ways?'

By the end of term, Year 3 will be making their own models of cars using their developing scientific and DT understanding. Wheels Day gave the children a hands-on experience to explore friction in action.
