The Life of a Chickpea Workshop at Aureus Secondary School

Our visit to Aureus Secondary School for the workshop The Life of a Chickpea was an inspiring and meaningful experience. The session was designed for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and focused on important themes like equality, diversity, inclusion, and British values. Through storytelling and discussion, we learned that everyone is different, but each person deserves to be accepted and valued.  A team of speakers from different faith communities led interactive activities and short presentations that helped us understand the importance of kindness and respect. Our pupils represented our school wonderfully, showing compassion, curiosity, and a genuine interest in learning from others
