Year 5 trip to Farmer Gow's
We are delighted to share that our children recently enjoyed an exciting and enriching trip to Farmer Gow’s as part of their STEAM curriculum. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning and following the trip, the children reflected on their day by writing their own reviews, capturing their favourite moments and what they discovered. Here are just a couple of their fantastic pieces that we are proud to share with you:
My review of Farmer Gow’s. Farmer Gow’s was amazing, and my favourite thing was definitely the feeding of the animals, the lambs were really cute and the goats and pigs. I also loved the food tasting and quizzes, the food we tried was delicious and the juices were too.It was amazing when we learnt about fish making fertiliser it was so captivating and the shipping container that holds all kinds of greenery. All the staff were incredible and informative kind and outstanding. Thank you for letting us come. Evelyn – Year 5 – Age 10
Farmer Gow’s Review Farmer Gow’s is the best farm I’ve been too, I tried, learned new things, and had fun with my friends on the way. I Don’t know about you but I’ve never before had this extraordinary experience I’ve never sat in a room with pigs, sheep, or GOATS! Even though I was scared from head to toe I was still having fun when the animals were let out of their cages. And we could feed them. It was especially funny when the goat sat on the bench :) They even have birthday parties and a cool park and in the park, they have: A little kid’s area A tunnel and hay bales to jump off A Big kid area And mini tractors to pedal around on! You will also never be hungry with Farmer Gow’s burgers and never short of fun with a gift shop full of toys I would rate it a 5.7 star review I highly recommended it for ages 4 to and over. Hope you have fun discovering animals at Farmer Gow’s. Maddison - Year 5 - Age 10
